Praja Rajyam

The name is finally out. The suspense is finally over.The interest dished out by various media and tv channels has come to an end with Megastar Chiranjeevi finally unveiling the policies,name and flag of his new political party. Praja Rajyam in other terms People’s Rule is a very good name which is more nearer to ppl and of course its a new name compared to the other political party names in Andhra Pradesh. The flag is  well designed  and not opting for a single color is different from the current trend of political logo designs.

Chiranjeevi is the undisputed king of Telugu Cinema for over twenty years and his succes in new role will obviously be compared with his on screen success. There will be comparisons whether he can do an NTR in Andhra.

Leaving aside the comparisons and history the question which most of them ask is whether there is space for a new political party and what has chiranjeevi got to offer other than the major political clan in Andhra.This isn’t really a serious question as far as i’m concerned for a few reasons.Chiranjeevi has newly started a party and the problems have been for over 60 years since independence. All the political parties which have been in power once or n times could not solve the major problems during their rule. It shows their inability to solve the crisis. So as long as problems exists there is definetely space for a new political party. What has chiranjeevi got to offer. Well the problems are the same the solution is also be going to almost the same. It all depends on the execution model of the solution.

For example the problem of poverty which has been in India since Independence. Many parties offered solutions over the past elections and allotted funds but still poverty exists. So the offering would almost be the same but a better model should always be offered. When the basic question is itself is improper then no quesion of further analysis in the current context.

How ppl are helped by this party is firstly they have a choice and they have the powerful weapon in their hands named vote.So they have an option and they have time to think about. Ultimately people gain the advantage with this new political party. But people always had this power so why are we still struggling with problems. So the question is whether we are making a judicial choice  and whether we feel more responsible towards our democracy.

Chrome!!!

I need not publish the news on my site that Google has released a new browser.Well the browser was available for download since tuesday and i guess many ppl should have downloaded and tested it. Well this post of mine is also written from the google browser. i’m just testing it whether all my sites are rendered well in this new software. As of now most of the sites i browse are working fine. For a few sites virtual pads are not rendered,this is the only problem i faced.

I think this browser also has the same design features which google used for its other products like simplicity in use,keeping ppl totally at ease with the new software. You need not be a pro to explore the options.One feature i liked is it displays more area of webpage than the other browsers. Well ofcourse the other browsers also have this feature by going for full view, but with google the default view itself is big.

The new incognito window is also a good feature so that whichever sites you browse in that particular window remain private.Interestingly google has come up with a cartoon which actually explains how the browsers are build to date and how google’s design differs from others. One of the good design points i liked is that considering each session as process.Make each tabe as a seperate process should obviously help. All the tabs using a single resource space and same process   was the reason why most of the times the browsers hang in mutli tab usage.so lets expect Chrome does not hang in heavy mutli tab usage.

One other good feature is the pop control. Most of the browsers given the option to allow pop ups temporarily or from a particular site. I found this annoying sometimes as i have to refresh the page then say allow popups for a download.But with Chrome i can drag the window and the pop does not disturb your browsing.

Vote!!!

As many of you are aware of the recent vote of confidence which has brought news stating the ruling government is ready to buy MP’s @ 35 crores. Well i definetely don’t have a stand on the politics which took place but this has definetely questioned our confidence in the parliamentary system. As too many parties are in the race to form groups so that they can come into power the credibility of what is right and what is wrong of the preachings happening about 123 Agreement bought disgrace to our parliamentary system.

Opposition is simple restricted to oppose what ever is proposed by ruling party and the hunger for power has sent parties crazy to disintegrate into further smaller parties. This  has obviously put a question before us whether we have to make changes for the currently parliamentary system. But all of us know that the changes can happen only if the current members take an initiative which is not bound to happen as it’ll be a big loss to them.Lets hope people use their vote more judiciously in the coming elections to give majority to a single party.

Some Thoughts!!!

Its been a long time since I’ve written a post on my blog. I’m not a not regular writer but yes a thorough reader of most of the blogs which I find interesting…Some reasons for not being regular are no time, no energy and yes definitely no ideas.         

  I don’t want to put something which is controversial in nature. I definitely don’t know which college Lord Ram graduated from. I don’t know who is behind all the bomb blasts neither I’m inclined to know and last I do not want to read the front page of the national newspaper as I’m in no mood to take some more bad news which we have been hearing in the last few days.                   

 Haa haa funny lines right yes these are the things which I’ve felt as I’ve read and heard then on the idiot box over the last few days. Few things which most of the Indians never get vexed up are cricket, movies and family. Even I’m not vexed up of these things.          

We have won the T20 world cup but lost poorly against a mighty champion Australia. People start saying Sachin should retire,dravid should retire. I definitely don’t have a stand on this but I guess its time for the new guys to chipin  and pump some energy.          

Coming to movies  I was very much impressed with the film Chak De India as it first of all had no heroine beside sharukh …..how many directors do really dare to do it as sharukh is really good at on screen romance with all the heroines…secondly there was no running behind the trees ..no songs which are shot in freezing cold climate where the hero wears a leather jacket and heroine wears a skimpy skirt romancing on the hills or behind the trees….and third people were able to connect very well to the sport hockey and almost felt as if we have won a world cup watching the film

BIG Guns

This is probably a nostalgic moment for the Indian Cricket as the BIG Guns of India are
nearing the time to hang up their boots. We still refer to the names of these players whenever they go out to bat and yes its definite a positive energy for India. The reason is simple,India hasn’t seen these kind of players probably in the last twenty years. They have been playing together for ten years but still we don’t have proper successors in their boots. This is definetely going to be a hard time for Indian cricket.This is most likely to be the last test for all the big guns in England so watch out for some good knocks and enjoy the master class.

Politics…

         The last few days saw a quick turn around of events for the Presidential elections. Firstly there are many names coming out of the Congress party finally nominating a women for the post .  Then there was an independent candidate standing for Prez supported by the NDA. And finally there comes the trump card thrown by the Third Front which brings politics into the highest honoured post in the Indian Democracy. Finally things settle down favouring the ruling party according to the statistics.

      Most of the politicians do find ways to keep  involved in active politics. Whether it is BCCI or some control boards or anything. They do have a stinch of politics for almost every public sector boards which makes it an interesting fight for the groups rather than spending quality time on issues which are of national importance. This does not support the view that politicians don’t spend time on issues which are of concern for the nation , they do but it is very less compared to what they spend on others.

As the mutli party system exists we have more than 50 parties each one trying to make its own presence by highliting issues which strike an emotional cord with the people be it seperate state,religion,reservation what ever….Each party has its own agenda which covers a certain section of ppl whom they consider a vote bank…

Why not take up national issues like Linking rivers….which should have been started by now rather than fight for some posts…We are more into politics than the actuals….probably that is the reason why China has more to offer than India.. It has built one the world’s biggest dam recently.. Today it has rail network which is more than of India’s. …They have one of the best infrastructures developed in recent times…Last few years China has used every oppurtunity to show case its commitment and dedication for the development.. I’m not here to say  we are bad….I’m very much sure we would have done much more better than we actually are doing…

Techie1: Oh i work on Java actually in blah blah domain.. …..Work is really good ….I enjoy it a lot…..blah blah…

Techie2: Yah even our company is good it is rated as best companies to work for in year 2006 …we have a gym ,library …so on…

Techie1:  I heard your company pays very good for laterals

Techie2: Yah it does for laterals but not much for ppl who’ve been with the company for a long time. So how are the pay packets in your company??

Techie1: Well not that gr8 …what ever we get is peanuts compared to the amount of work we do.. Its not that gr8… I’m actually looking for a shift …so on……So how much are you earning ???

Techie2: I’m getting a take home of 18k …what abt u

Techie1: I’m getting a take home of 35k ….despite five years of experience..Techie2: Oh ok..So any onsite oppurtunities for you in near future??

Techie1: Yes probably after my boss dies..i don’t see anything until then..What abt you?? 

Techie2: Nothing until for two years  Two days after

Techie1 goes to a town to see a girl along with his parents It happens to be the house of techie2…These ppl are naturally surprised shake hands and get along well….

Father of techie1: We like the girl .. I would like to say more about my son… He is actually working in ABC company getting around 50k per month…Recently he was supposed to go onsite but stayed back as we are searching for a girl…Probably he’ll be going onsite from three to four months from now…So we would like to want his marriage to be arranged before three months…

Father of techie2: Yes sure even we want to be asap as our son will be leaving to onsite probably in another 5 to 6 months…

Father of techie1: Oh gr8 ..so how much is he earning ..

Father of techie2: he has joined just one and half years back …he is getting around 30k per month…so on….

The two techies look at each other …laugh at their situation…    

objectivism

Objectivism – emphasis on the actual, the take home meaning of the realities for the many questions surrounding to the problems faced by many humans. It helps keep humans away from the idealistic sense pf philanthropy.Off late i think i’ve seen enough cases of objectivism and that too in this competitive arena where ppl try to clinch every single oppurtunity from others. So never bee too much of an philanthropic. There is always a lot of pleasure by living for urself rather than for others.
